A tired basement in Clapham was transformed into a vibrant, characterful space with a redesigned bar, cohesive styling and bold, inviting finishes for relaxed entertaining.

This project began with a brief to refresh a dark, underused basement and turn it into a sociable, welcoming space to be used for entertaining, but also for the family.

PROCESS /
The original bar area was completely redesigned with new joinery, lighting and mirror-backed shelving to create a bold focal point. We developed a new colour palette and interior scheme to bring cohesion across the entire room, sourcing furnishings and accessories to tie the space together and to include the client’s existing artwork. Throughout the process, we worked closely with the client and contractors to ensure the vision was delivered smoothly and the final result felt both characterful and comfortable.
